SNJPC is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) coalition of healthcare professionals and consumers licensed by the NJ Department of Health as the Maternal and Child Health Consortium serving the seven counties of South Jersey. Founded in 1982, the Cooperative strives to maximize resources, address gaps in care and identify emerging regional needs.

 

 

 

 

 

SNJPC is best known by the programs and services we provide. Whether we are helping families quit smoking, ensuring that every school-aged child receives the appropriate vaccinations or helping screen for risk factors, we are making South Jersey a healthier region. Mission

MISSION STATEMENT

The Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative is a licensed Maternal and Child Health Consortia which coordinates and supports maternal-fetal and newborn care throughout the seven-county region of Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem counties.

 

Through the collaborative efforts of hospitals, public health agencies, universities, health care professionals and consumers, the Cooperative's activities that are directed toward improving the health of women and birthing people, infants and families and decreasing perinatal mortality and morbidity include:

 

These activities of the Cooperative are focused on prevention of pre-term births and maternal-fetal and neonatal mortality, woven into the fabric of a safety net to support the families and communities of South Jersey

Serivce Region

SERVICE REGION

As the Maternal & Child Health Consortium serving South Jersey, we are focused on improving the health of families in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties. The region as a whole has about 21,000 births each year and we are concerned about the health of each and every one. We monitor our success with a sophisticated data collection and analysis program that is used to identify emerging health trends and create effective interventions.

MEMBER HOSPITALS

All hospitals providing maternity care in South Jersey are members of the Cooperative with designated seats on our Board of Directors. The Cooperative is proud of the strong and dynamic relationship built with member hospitals - a partnership that promotes the best in health care for South Jersey families.
