In honor of the extraordinary career of Barbara May, RN, MPH, our former colleague who retired in 2023, the Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative is pleased to offer the Barbara May Scholarship for Nurses. This $5,000 annual scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students in New Jersey who are enrolled in a nursing program and who have interest in the specialties of community and perinatal health in New Jersey.
APPLICANTS MUST:
Be 18 years old or older
Be a resident of New Jersey with a commitment to a nursing career in the state
Be enrolled or have applied/been accepted to an accredited university or college nursing program
Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0
