COVID-19 Program Updates

CAMDEN HEALTHY START / CAMDEN MOMS BREASTFEED
Camden Moms Breastfeed will conduct support groups in English and Spanish via Zoom. You can access this free online meeting service from your computer, tablet or smartphone. Spanish sessions are held every other Tuesday from 10:30 am - noon and English sessions on Wednesdays from 10:30 am - noon. Call 856-963-1013 or email npollard@snjpc.org for more information.

EARLY INTERVENTION COORDINATION SERVICES:  NEW UPDATE

The NJ Early Intervention System (NJEIS) has announced it will continue to provide services and supports to families and their children birth to age 3 with developmental delays or disabilities via Telehealth.  Please continue to make referrals or encourage families to call to the program’s toll free line – 888-653-4463.  NJEIS notes the following: 1) All referrals are completed via telephone by trained service coordinators, 2) Telehealth is now being used to complete developmental evaluations and 3) Eligibile children and their families will receive ongoing Telehealth NJEIS services and supports.

SNJPC's EI Service Coordinators will continue to employ virtual meetings and conference calls to support client families. Enrolled families may also contact their case coordinators directly. For all other inquiries, please contact Unit Coordinator, Aileen McCullough at 609-437-3949.

FETAL AND INFANT MORTALITY REVIEW 
Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) teams will conduct their upcoming meetings via Zoom. 

HEALTHY WOMEN, HEALTHY FAMILIES / BREASTFEEDING SERVICES
The Breastfeeding Support Group for Atlantic City Moms will be conducted via Zoom. Meetings are every Wednesday with two time options, 10:30 am or 3:30 pm. Call or text Ashley at 609-922-1136 for details.

HEALTHY WOMEN, HEALTHY FAMILIES / DOULA SERVICES
Respecting social distancing guidelines, the Community Doulas of South Jersey will be available by phone, text or email for continuous informational and emotional support. Home visiting services will be offered virtually for prenatal and postpartum appointments. Doulas will plan with each client for labor support services in accordance with policies of the individual birthplace of choice. Please contact your medical care provider about health concerns and emergencies. 

LEAD AND HEALTHY HOMES
Home visiting programs can still receive Lead and Healthy Homes eco-friendly bags to share with clients. To order a supply of bags, contact Kelly McLaughlin at kmclaughlin@snjpc.org.

PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION OFFERINGS
Trauma: Highlighting Complexities in Maternal Mental Health and Addiction will take place virtually on September 16th. Details to follow.
