Early Intervention Camden County
The Early Intervention (EI) program helps eligible Camden County families receive EI services provided by the state for children with developmental delays or disabilities.
Service Coordinators help parents negotiate the system, understand their rights, arrange for in home evaluations obtain services, and develop an individual family service plans.
Service Coordination is an important component of the EI system. Service Coordinators serve as family's personal guide. They educate families about available services, assist them with the assessment process used to determine eligibility, help families obtain actual services and even make appointments for clients.
At regular intervals, Service Coordinators also meet with each family to review their service plan to ensure that the programs continue to be appropriate for the child's developmental needs and the family's stated goals.
