About the Program
Camden Healthy Start is a federally-funded initiative directed by the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Camden in cooperation with many health and social service partners. Healthy Start promotes community-based, culturally competent, family-centered, comprehensive perinatal care to pregnant women, infants and their families.
Healthy Start funding supports programs and interventions to address gaps in care that contribute to high infant mortality rates. When added to existing services, these new and expanded programs create the type of comprehensive, seamless delivery network that saves lives.
