Healthy Families - Atlantic City
This program promotes positive parent-child interactions and positive growth and development. At-risk families receive long-term, intensive home visits by specially-trained lay family support workers who support and educate the parents within their own family setting. Cooperative staff also guide the parents as they access needed services. Families are linked with a health care "home" for a continuum of preventive and primary health care services. Infant And Family Development (IAFD)
An early intervention program for high-risk infants and their families in Atlantic County. The goal is to lower the incidence of developmental delay of at-risk infants, and prevent their abuse and neglect by providing extensive at-home, remedial, rehabilitative and educational services by health care professionals. IAFD is supported in part by the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services (NJDHSS). Contact: Barbara Kozek
