2009 Pacera Award Winner Marya Small
Nurse Marya Small of Woodbine, a long-time community advocate for the people of Atlantic County, accepted the 2009 Joseph A. Pacera Award for Service to Maternal and Child Health. Small, a mother of three children, provides residential nursing care for clients of the non-profit Atlantic City Rescue Mission, and is also the outreach coordinator for 21 Down of South Jersey, a support group for families of Down Syndrome children. 2008 Pacera Recipients Honored
The 2008 recipients of the Pacera Award, Deacon Felix “Tito” Miranda and Christine Mulford, RN, BSN, IBCLC, were recognized for their achievements at the annual meeting of the Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative.
