Current and accurate information is essential to creating the best possible maternal and child health care system for southern New Jersey. SNJPC supports and maintains a reliable system for the collection and analysis of uniform statistics on fetal and neonatal mortality, immunization records, birth certificates, and patterns of maternal and neonatal transports.
These data provide the foundation for SNJPCfs analysis of the state of maternal-child health care in South Jersey. The information is also useful to identify areas of concern for long-range planning and determine needs for clinical or educational program development.
