Who We Are

Family Health Initiatives (FHI) was established in 2002 as a subsidiary agency of the Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative, the state-licensed Maternal-Child Health Consortium that serves the seven southernmost counties of New Jersey.

As an subsidiary agency, FHI has specific expertise in maternal and child health care and considerable knowledge of the New Jersey Maternal-Child Health Care Consortia network system, its challenges, resources, and distinct opportunities.

Family Health Initiatives is governed by an 11-member Board of Trustees, six of whom are appointed by SNJPC; the remaining five are elected.
