Free Quit-Smoking Patches Available to New Jersey Smokers Ready to Quit

While supplies last, the New Jersey Quitline is offering smokers in New Jersey free nicotine patches to help them quit.
To take advantage of this offer, smokers must enroll with the New Jersey Quitline by calling 1-866-NJSTOPS. To enroll, smokers complete an intake evaluation with a quit counselor and receive their first counseling session. Once enrolled, smokers will be mailed a two week supply of free nicotine patches.
The New Jersey Quitline is a free, confidential and multilingual telephone-based counseling and referral service for smokers who are ready to quit. Specially trained smoking cessation counselors are available Monday through Friday from 9am- 9pm and weekends from 9am-6pm.
Pregnant women and new mothers in southern New Jersey interested in quitting smoking can turn to Mom’s Quit Connection (MQC), a free counseling and educational program from the Southern NJ Perinatal Cooperative. To enroll, call us at 1-888-545-5191 or email MQC@snjpc.org
